Mexican Family Fun Day
Saturday 25 April 2015, 1-4pm at the Old Barn, Glasgow
What are we celebrating?
A fabulous family fun day to raise funds for Mision Mexico celebrating Children’s Day, ‘El Día Del Niño’.
Why are we celebrating El Día Del Niño?
This is a national holiday in Mexico and is celebrated as a tribute to children in Mexico on April 30.
Children’s Day has been celebrated annually in Mexico since 1925. Children are recognized as an important part of society so the day focuses on the importance of loving, accepting and appreciating children.
How are we celebrating El Día Del Niño?
We’ll be celebrating Children’s Day in Glasgow with picnics on the lawn (BYO), delicious home baking, magic shows, balloon modelling, face painting, nail art, music and a bit of Mexican fun thrown in too!
By joining our party in Glasgow you’ll be celebrating the children in your lives as well as those in Mision Mexico.
The sun came out and we raised £1700 for our Youth Transition Program!
A HUGE thank you to all everyone who turned up to enjoy the afternoon as well as our sponsors and volunteers.
The event pics are here for you to enjoy.
