How we are supported

Directors, Pam and Alan, volunteer their time and energy on a permanent basis to look after the children and live at Misión México. They are supported by volunteers from around the world who stay with us from one month to one year.

The refuge is funded by individuals around the world, primarily Australia, the UK and the US, through ongoing donations and fundraising activities. We have a few wonderful businesses who support our children and have been fortunate to receive grants from the Australian and Canadian Embassies.

We are also supported by formal groups of people in Mexico, Australia, USA and UK.

Misión México is a registered charity in Mexico. Children are referred to Misión México by the local DIF (Mexican Welfare Department).
